Daily Prompt: Explain why you chose your blog’s title and what it means to you.
My original title for this blog was my name because it was about me and my interests. However, when I started the Daily Post I noticed everyone had really cool names so I decided to search for something a bit more creative. I was poking around in the dictionary and thesaurus looking for words that play on television, since that is what I like and study. I found the word “televisionary.” I liked the word, but not the exact definition. That’s why when I decided to use the word, I went with the phonetic spelling as tel-uh-vizh-uh-ner-ee. I thought it spoke more to a meaning of creativity and having a vision for the future of television. That’s what it means to me. Just in case anyone can’t make sense of the phoentics, I added the tagline “Televisionary: My personal portfolio and blog about TV and other ‘stuff’” to help further explain the title, the site and the site’s purpose.

The tagline is important because my tongue trips on the title everytime. Seeing the word spelled out naturally gave cause for the tongue not to panic.
